Kentucky Cruises Past Western Kentucky

In the Wildcats' second game of the season they did not have much trouble with Western Kentucky University. After falling behind 7-0 early, Kentucky soon tied the game and took the lead and never looked back. The final score would end at 63-28 for Kentucky as they cruised to an easy win. The Wildcats were led by junior wide receiver Randall Cobb who had an outstanding all around game. Cobb had three touchdowns in three different ways: he had a passing, receiving, and punt return for a touchdown. Quarterback Mike Hartline had another good game along with running back Derrick Locke. Hartline had 213 yards passing with 3 touchdowns while Locke had 105 rushing yards with 1 touchdown. The Wildcats will host Akron next week and now have a 2-0 record on the year.
